Bet you can't guess what my biggest problem was at Saturday's wedding? I've dealt with awful weather, misbehaving animals and children, schedules running up to 2 hours late and all manner of things in between. You just deal with it and have the most amazing time possible. But Saturday's problem was a new one. I was laughing so hard at times, that I was struggling to keep the camera still enough to focus!
Daniel and Armela are good at making each other smile and they have surrounded themselves with similar jolly types. These include their brothers and sisters, who just happened to make up the bridal party. Hilarity ensued! Look on...
Dapper Dan with his blue eyes and his blue suit.
Dan's father Gavin has spent years restoring this gorgeous old Austin motorcar...perfect for the wedding day!
Can you tell nephew Fletcher doesn't like having his photo taken?
Nephew Isaac and niece Kaila were too busy scattering petals to pull faces!
Allan walks his smiling daughter Armela down the aisle.
Down Converys Lane was looking as wonderful as always.
Love the way Dan looks at Armela...there is much love between these two.
Celebrant Dot Orchard making them laugh and jump through all the right hoops to be married.
The official bits.
The merrymakers from far and wide.
OK...there is a backstory to this image. Armela wanted to do an 'old fashioned' photo where none of them smiled. I indulged because I really didn't think they were capable of straight faces for any period of time. They managed this for about 10 seconds before Armela cracked and the rest followed soon after!
Brothers Daniel, Andrew and Mitchell.
Sisters Armela, Naomi and Daphne.
Hiding from the brown snakes!
Most photos feature laughter. Very few quiet moments with these two.
Entering the reception to cheers.
Ben was the fabulous MC for the evening.
Daniel's sister Rebecca organised a game of trust..the whole photo series is ridiculous fun!
Parents of the groom Gavin and Shyrelle give a warm speech of thanks.
Parents of the bride Allan and Rose gave us an insight into the child that was Armela.
Then sisters Naomi and Daphne created more hilarity with the shoe game. Interestingly, on the really important things, these two were a matching pair!
Sibling speeches...yes this group are full of humour, constantly ribbing each other, but they also showed their softer sides with speeches full of heartfelt sentiment. It was a beautiful contrast to all the laughter.
Friends Andy and Mel performed Chasing Cars for the 1st dance.
Let the dancfloor antics begin!
Three generations.
Whiskey brothers.
My face muscles certainly got a work out photographing your wonderful wedding day. I wish for you a continued life of frivolity, love, happiness and of course lots of babies!
Big love and hugs from Natsky.
