When I met this beautiful couple for the first time last year, I was immediately wanting to share their wedding day, knowing instinctively how wonderful it would be. Their shared connection is delightful to watch and their happy buzz is quite infectious. The care and tenderness they show towards each other, the generosity and consideration they have for all those around them and their warmth and good humour as people, means they are well loved by family and friends...and now me too! The wedding of Ian and Sarah last Saturday was a truly beautiful celebration of two souls finding each other, knowing it is right and going for it!
Ian and Sarah both got ready at Pines on the Plateau so before we headed across the road to Down Converey's Lane for the wedding ceremony, we had a bit of a wander around the garden...time to breathe, laugh and think about what was about to happen.
In spite of the nerves there were still lots os smiles!
Sarah's younger brother Julian held on to her ever so tight as he walked her down the aisle to the waiting Ian.
Getting the tears under control!
Ian was comforting Sarah the whole way through the service, making sure she was OK, fixing stray locks of hair and holding her hand...I think concentrating on her also helped Ian with his nerves!
Wanting to be part of her human's special day, Mischa woofed her agreement that these two lovelies should be wed.
...and so with vows, rings, a kiss and some signatures, they were husband and wife!
After a spread of delicious food for dinner, it was then down to some serious giggles for the speeches!
The naked cake by Rebellious Cake Co was beautifully decorated with flower's styled by Sarah's sister Rosie who also did an awesome job with Sarah's bouquet and flowers throughout the venue.
Ian and Sarah then wowed everyone with their bridal dance, complete with turns, swirls and even a lift!
Congratulations Ian and Sarah!
Wishing you a fabulous adventure in Madagascar and ongoing into your life together.
May you continue to chase your dreams and good luck with the 13 children!
Big love and hugs from Natsky.
