I photographed my last wedding for 2018 on Saturday...and what an awesome wedding to finish the year on! Brett & Dean said their "I dos" at their beautiful Jiggi property, while I crossed my fingers that the heavens wouldn't open and rain on their parade. There was much laughter and a few tears, as celebrant Rose Hogan gave us the goss on these two rad humans!
They walked the aisle together...
...with bouquets...
...which they gave to their mamas Narelle...
...and Carol on their way to the altar!
Now...let's get married!
Rose had us chuckling throughout with a brilliant, unique, personal ceremony.
Lotsa good stuff around these two.
The official bits.
Then we finished with an all in rendition of the Beatles' "All you need is Love" complete with kazoo solo.
So with the hugathon over and everyone else headed to the hall for the reception, it was some 'time-out' for the boys while I took photos.
By now the sky was dark and the thunder and lightening had begun. How long before we 'watered the garden'?!?!
15 minutes later and then this happened...wind, rain and a touch of hail!
It should only last 5 minutes right?
15 minutes later and we are still waiting for it to stop howling outside...it eventually did and then we left for reception shenanigans.
Bringing the joy.
There was a flamboyance of flamingoes in attendance.
Narelle was totally unaware just how much photo bombing was happening behind her.
Craig, aka 1iSamurai, had people wiggling and jiggling.
The only speech for the evening!
...is all you need.
Congratulations gentleman on a fabulous celebration. I trust that the evening continued on its merry way and a good time was had by all until the wee small hours!
Massive love to you both...Natsky.
