3 Goats and a AAA Rating!
I love a beautiful wedding in the hills and last Saturday I travelled to Fernleigh to photograph the gorgeous country wedding of Colin and Jenni. There was an amazing hillside view, cute kids in tutus, a labrapoodle ring bearer, dramatic sky, a tractor ride, sheds as art, a witty MC and so much more. The crowd were the special humans that this couple love dearly and the air was rippling with love and happiness. Following is a quick peek at the day in pics...enjoy!
As the people started to fall out of the arriving mini vans, the happiness began...
Tutus and labrapoodle.
With sister in law Judy.
Tom Avery aka Blackboi played didge as the girls arrived.
Colin watches Jenni arrive....
...on a tractor of course!
Jenni and her papa Allan.
Told you it was beautiful!
Hold on tight.
Love that look!
Jo, Amanda and Kate sang beguiling harmonies. The Stone Roses never sounded so good!
And then it was time for the first smooch as husband and wife.
With Kaitlin and Brad
With fur baby Thandi.
Local artist Justin Livingston aka Julla painted up the old tin shed.
Time to get this party started with a guard of honour, complete with African drum music.
The warm setting waiting for the feast created by Shelter.
Dreamy guitar strummed throughout dinner, as played by Dani.
Then the speeches began...up first Brad...
...who then asked his sister Kaitlin to join him and continue a family tradition...
...a speech in poetry! It was most fabulous!
Colin then talked about goats!
and Jenni talked about somebody's AAA Rating!
Spreading the love with local honey made by Colin's bees!
I'm sure the laughter continued into the evening, long into the evening!
Wishing Colin and Jenni much happiness and time to enjoy their new, slower(?) lifestyle...and may the goat and the ram lock horns against the world, rather than each other!
Big love from Natsky.
